A delightful breakfast surprise

Woke up to an exquisite breakfast that included the fluffiest croissants and steaming coffee. The staff was genuinely friendly and made my stay unforgettable.

However, there was a hiccup with room temperature. I missed having AC while I enjoyed the warm Cuenca nights. It made sleep a bit challenging.

We visited the outdoor zoo with baby lions and saw howler monkeys having a great time. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore nearby spots. We enjoyed complimentary welcome drinks, and the service was excellent, especially the check-in process. Just a heads up, the restaurant is undergoing renovations, but it didn’t affect our stay.

Missed the spa, which was a bummer since I was looking forward to it. I did manage to get a massage in my room, but it wasn’t the same experience I had hoped for.

My stay at Oro Verde was good! The staff, especially Daniel, provided really good service by helping recover a lost jacket and celebrating my special occasion with a thoughtful surprise. The only downside was the shower’s temperamental hot water. A nice experience!

stayed at oro verde for a workshop and really liked the large meeting room and comfy rooms. it’s close to the airport and downtown, making it easy to explore. the coffee service was on point, and we enjoyed our lunch with lovely service. the nice heated pool was a great way to relax too.
